Just thought I'd add the other piece of my artwork I scanned in and stitched together.

last day

Today was the last day of class and I squeaked by, finishing my art cards just minutes before they were due. I am happy with my finished products, though my procrastination caused my more stress than was really necessary.


Yesterday I learned how to scan my (oversized) artwork into the computer and then stitch together the multiple scans (see image above). I used a painting that I scanned to create my first art card. After I had the picture all put together I re-worked it using both Painter and Photoshop. The result was a more dramatic, colorized version of my original analog painting (see image below).

The second art card was made from a line drawing which I scanned into the computer and painted on using Painter (see image below).

This was my first successful attempt at scanning and cleaning up some line art.

I used a photograph that I took and opened it in Painter. There I modified it and then opened the modified version into Photoshop. This was the first time I've added text and really experimented with the different filters.
